This instantly made me think of Jenny. In the relatively short time I’ve known her she has helped me remember that big heavy stones aren’t always as big and heavy as they seem. She reminds me, when they press down on my chest so all I can do is wiggle my toes and my fingers, she reminds me and she breathes and great big powerful breath and she uses her mighty strength and she pushes boulders as if they were pebbles. And sometimes when she has a big heavy stone on her, sometimes I remember my own strength and I reach into the basket we made and I find two pairs of wings, one for each of us and we leave the stones on the sand and we fly up into the clouds holding hands, because holding hands means I love you, and I do, love her.
